Deposit protection

Independent protection through IWA.

We follow the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), which is affiliated with Trading Standards. Customer deposits are protected against loss through Independent Warranty (IWA).

Workmanship insurance

10 years of IWA-backed cover.

For each qualifying project, we provide 10-year workmanship insurance through IWA. This independent protection remains available if the installer is no longer trading and a valid claim needs to be made.

Equipment warranties

Long-term manufacturer protection.

• Solar panels: 25-year guarantee
• Solar panel performance: 30 years
• Inverters and batteries: typically at least 10 years

All applicable manufacturer warranties are included in the handover document pack. We would normally handle a warranty query for you, while the manufacturer warranty remains directly available if ever required.

Certification and handover

Everything documented properly.

Our renewable installations are MCS accredited and performed within NAPIT guidelines. At completion, customers receive the applicable NAPIT and building-regulations certificates, product documents, manuals and warranty information.

For grid-connected systems we manage the required DNO application—G98, G99 or G100 as appropriate—and supply the Distribution Network Operator with the tailored single-line drawing for the installation. Work does not begin until the necessary export approval is in place.
